The SportPesa Mega Jackpot is Kenya's most widely played weekly football pool. Every round, SportPesa selects 17 football matches from leagues around the world — the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Eredivisie and local East African fixtures all appear regularly — and players must predict the outcome of every game using the standard 1X2 format. A home win is 1, a draw is X, and an away win is 2. Get all 17 right and you win the full grand prize, which starts at KES 100 million and rolls over every weekend until someone claims it. In August 2025, Bonnie Kamau became the latest full winner, collecting KES 424,660,618 after correctly predicting all 17 outcomes.

How our jackpot predictions are built

Each week we work through the 17 selected fixtures the same way we work through any other match on our platform — recent form, home and away splits, head-to-head records, squad availability and the general tactical context for each side. The difference with jackpot analysis is that we also think about which games carry genuine uncertainty and where we'd normally reach for a draw or a value away win rather than defaulting to the home favourite. We publish a confidence rating alongside each pick — High, Mid or Low — so you can see at a glance which games we feel cleanest about and which ones we're less certain of. Low-confidence games are typically where the draw is a realistic outcome, or where the form lines contradict each other.

The Mega Jackpot Pro explained

In January 2023, SportPesa introduced the Mega Jackpot Pro format, which lets players enter fewer than all 17 games. The Pro tiers are 13, 14, 15 and 16 matches. Each tier has its own prize pool and its own bonus structure. The entry stake is still KES 99 per ticket, and skipped games are marked with 0 in the SMS format. The Pro categories are a practical option when you want to avoid committing to the hardest two or three games in a given round while still chasing the main jackpot prize for the tier you enter. Why the analysis matters on a jackpot
