Banker Pick — Odd/Even Goals
Dortmund's last 8 home European matches have produced an odd total goals count in 6 of them. PSG's away games in Europe this season have ended on an odd total in 5 of 7. Our expected goals model points toward a 3-goal match as the most likely total, which lands on Odd. The combined historical odd/even distribution at this fixture strongly favours Odd.

Today's Odd/Even Goals predictions — odd or even total goals tips.
Odd/Even Goals is a football betting market with exactly two outcomes: will the total number of goals scored in the match be an odd number (1, 3, 5, 7…) or an even number (0, 2, 4, 6…)? The result, winning team, half-time score and individual team goal tallies are all irrelevant — only the combined total at full-time matters. A 0-0 scoreline produces zero goals, and zero is even, so a bet on Even Goals wins. Every pick on this page is based on goal expectation modelling and each team's historical odd/even goal distribution.
How we pick Odd/Even Goals predictions
Odd/Even predictions start with the same goal expectation inputs used for Over/Under and BTTS — recent scoring and conceding rates, home and away records kept separate, and the quality of opposition. From a goal expectation figure, we calculate the probability of each total goals count (0, 1, 2, 3…) landing, then sum the probabilities across all odd totals and all even totals. The side with the higher cumulative probability becomes the pick. We also look at each team's historical odd/even distribution at their home and away grounds, since some teams systematically produce matches that skew toward one side of the parity line.
Does 0-0 count as Even Goals?
Yes — zero is an even number, so a 0-0 match is a winning result for an Even Goals bet. This is important when analysing fixtures expected to produce very few goals: a tight, low-scoring match where 0-0 and 1-0 are the two most likely scorelines pushes the expected value toward Even Goals because 0-0 contributes a full winning outcome and 1-0 contributes an odd one. In genuinely low-scoring fixture profiles, Even Goals often has a slight edge from the 0-0 outcome alone.
Odd/Even Goals vs Over/Under Goals — what's the difference?
Both markets use total goals as their input, but they ask different questions. Over/Under sets a fixed line (typically 2.5 or 1.5) and asks whether the total clears that line. Odd/Even asks whether the total is divisible by two — without any line. In practice, they often correlate: a match expected to produce 3 goals is likely Over 2.5 and Odd. But they can diverge: a 4-goal match is Over 2.5 and Even, while a 2-goal match is Under 2.5 and Even. Odd/Even is a better market when the goal total itself is uncertain but the parity of the likely totals shows a clear skew.
